Un album entre noise, drone, dark ambient le tout teinté d'un scénario de fin du monde. Sans tomber dans le loop, ni la répétition. C'est recherché et marqué de la thématique post-apocalyptique. A l'instar du label Cryochamber. Un must ! Le vinyle apporte la profondeur des infra-basses, plus de clarté dans le fond sonore, c'est envoûtant !
Favorite track: In The Dreamer's Fields.

I've taken this album into the haunted woods by my house and it accents the mysterious atmosphere perfectly. Another fine slab of Northern hypnosis and gloom from our favorite Swede...

Kammarheit strikes from the shadows to prove his mastery of the dark arts once again. More than any other artist he understands that true darkness comes from the void, carrying a subtle sense of dread and despair which slowly, but surely, pulls you down to the darkest depths of the soul. In this sense Thronal is a masterfully crafted Dark Ambient record and a new benchmark, not only for the artist, but for the genre itself. Hail to the king!
Kammarheit finally returns with his fourth full-length album. In its 20 years since the formation of the project, Pär Boström has delivered time and time again some of the most compelling and dare we say authentic Dark Ambient music ever to grace our ears. Following up on his previous works (of which a special edition 20th Anniversary 3LP boxset has been released) he now presents Thronal, another profound and spellbinding journey and another meaningful chapter in Kammarheit’s indefinable story, from a true master of his craft. “I took the crown and the throne acted as a magnet, drawing the attention of distant stars…”

An excellent ambient album. The diverse authors make it a perhaps more dynamic piece than other ones featured by Cryo Chamber. It is also a great introduction to the world of ambient music.
To me the tracks channel the atmosphere of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, set in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. bozsoi
