The overall feel here is hushed, almost reverential, and very dark. Listening, one almost hears the echoes of rituals that were once performed for these ancient deities in caves thick with incense, or atop lofty mountain ledges razored by freezing winds, upon altars dripping with fluids best left unnamed. Powerful dark ambient/synth. There must be a Morricone circa 'The Thing' influence coming out of the artists here. This album is truly an experience to listen to, and is best engaged with in the dark - lying down, playing loudly. I did this the first time listening to it, while I was sick, at night, and rather than falling asleep I stayed half awake and just melted into it's realms. I don't know where I was taken, but I wasn't in my bed for the duration. A must have album. Archmage Orladin
