"Den mørke munnens språk", translating to "Language of the dark mouth" is a new aural venture from Hærleif Langas (Northaunt), and definitely his most massive and ominous dark ambient project to date. Designed to open beneath you as a trapdoor, the 4 mammoth tracks on this first album are a reflection of a more sinister side of the psyche made from deep ambient structures and constantly evolving drones. Atmospheric and slowly moving it taps into the hidden maelstrom of the mind.

I adore Cryo Chamber and out of all the collaborators under the label, my most admired group is Metatron Omega. Every single album carries their unique mystic and thought evoking, monastic soundscape that elevates me to a higher realm. The "Sanctum" album, in particular, is the one I find the most astounding.

A must have album for anyone who loves ambient but in particular dark ambient. You get incredible value out of the originally 2 CD release of this album with 14 tracks filled with noxious and nightmarish ambient, ranging from slower drone pieces to my favourite song which is almost a fever dream, Head Shot. A renowned and respected classic of the genre for a good reason.
